For anyone who couldn’t join our November 11th meeting, here’s a quick recap of the progress and updates we shared. The foundation continues to push research forward, and we’re grateful for everyone’s involvement.
Drug Repurposing Project Progress
We continue to make important progress with the drug repurposing project. AÂ research paper will be published in the coming weeks, sharing early findings and new insights about the mutation as we push for a better understanding of the mutation and its effects.
Mouse Model Updates
Our YWHAG mouse model is moving into deeper phenotyping with the Czech Centre for Phenogenomics in early 2026.
Fundraising & Community Support
We want to highlight Jill, whose son was recently diagnosed with the YWHAG mutation. In just two short months, she jumped into fundraising and has already raised $3,000. She has also kindly offered to help lead future fundraising efforts. We are extremely grateful for her passion, dedication, and the support she has brought to our community so quickly.
